October to March is the best time to visit Kathmandu valley. You may go there by air or by bus. Tribhuvan International Airport is the only international airport in Nepal. Most of the flights operate via Delhi or Bangkok, and of a few numbers of flights arrive from outside Asia. Bus service is also available from India and rest of the part of the country. For local transport buses, taxis and rickshaws are also available.

There are many first class hotels, luxury hotels, budget hotel, comfortable lodges and resorts offers accommodation options to suite all budgets.

The nightlife of kathmundu is not attractive for the viewers. In Kathmandu you may enjoy Indian film and western film as well. Some hotels and restaurant offer folk song for the visitor.

The sewage system of the county is not good that’s why the clean water is not available for drinking. There are often chances to pick pocket in crowd place.

Kandy – Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

Kandy TempleKandy, capital hill of Sri Lanka, is unquestionably one of the most gorgeous cities in the world. It is most visited and venerated city in Sri Lanka.  The city is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO.

The Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the main attraction of the city. It is a vital place of pilgrimage for Buddhists as it holds the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. At this point visitors can enjoy the ancient traditions of drumming and holy chanting in honor of the Tooth Relic, being performed three times a day such as at dawn, at noon and in the evening every day. Nanumura Mangallaya, a symbolic bathing of the Sacred Relic with an herbal preparation, made from scented water and flagrant flowers on Wednesday. The people believe that the holy water is full of curative powers. So, the water is distributed among the visitors. The relic of the tooth is kept in a two-story inner shrine named “Vadahitina Maligawa” fronted by two large elephant tusks. The relic is decorated by a solid gold lotus flower, carved floral designs, and moonstones, encased in jeweled caskets that sit on a throne.

Esala Perahera, the most colorful pageant of Asia, held in honor of the tooth Relic. During July or August a replica of the relic casket is taken in procession accompanied by exotically costumed dancers who dance to the rhythmic beating of drums by the Kandyan drummers and complete with a hundred or more colorfully caparisoned elephants for unfolds through ten glittering nights each year. About a million Sri Lankan societies in a vast mass of devotees and interested onlookers unite here during the festival.

Peradeniya Gardens, Dumbara valley, Lankatilleke, Gadaladeniya, Degaldoruwa, Ranawana, Embekke are also attraction for the tourist.

Kandy is an exciting place for shopping. It offers you a variety of shopping destinations, ranging from colorful ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewellery and reed-ware.

You can make your journey by air. Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) is the main international airport and transport hub of Sri Lanka. It is the central gateway to Kandy and the rest of the country for overseas visitors. Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands are among the other European countries operate their flight in here. The trip to Kandy from the airport takes around three hours. The intercity express train service offers a good journey for the visitor from Colombo to Kandy. You may prefer bus service which is cheaper than train. Auto rickshaws, taxis, cars also available here.

Islands of Heaven – Maldives

Maldives, A group of islands rising from the deep blue of the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean, 500km (300 miles) southwest of the southern angle of India, is a very good-looking country. It is prominent for its exceptional underwater beauty with swaying palm trees and cleans white sunny beaches surrounded by crystalline lagoons with different depths of varying shades of blue; turquoise, dazzling submerged coral gardens; a wonderful natural arrangement for the ideal tropical vacation.

Male is the capital of Maldives. There are many attractive places for the traveler. You may visit in Male:

  • Grand Friday Mosque: The biggest mosque in Maldives, was constructed by the Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar in 1656.
  • Mulee Aage Palace with its beautiful white carvings is an eye catching sight which located in front of the Friday mosque was built in the year 1906.

You may also visit in Male such as Hukuru misiikis – the oldest mosque of the country, English art gallery – one of the oldest buildings of Maldives.

There are so many beaches in Maldives waiting for you as example Banyan Tree Island, Nika, Cocoa Island and Nalaguraidhoo in the South Ari Atoll have striking beaches. Most of the beaches of the country are well decorated. There are many water sports such as wind surfing, parasailing, diving and snorkeling along with carnivals and parades organized for the vacationer.

Qutub Minar

The Qutub Minar is an example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. The word Qutab Minar means axis minaret. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the tallest brick minaret in the world, at 238 feet (72m). Qutub-ud-Din Aibak laid the foundation of it in AD 1199. It located at a small village called Mehrauli in South Delhi.

It is the highest stone tower in India which ascended by a circular stairway for a view of breathtaking. The complex has five different storeys, with a prominent balcony. The first three storey are made of red sandstone, the fourth and fifth of marble and sandstone. The entire surface of it covered in various inscriptions from the Quran. Inscription in Kupee language and beautiful calligraphy adorns the adjacent edifices.

Quwwat – Ul – Islam Mosque, Iron Pillar, Alai Minar, Alai Darwaza, is the tourist attractions in Qutab Minar complex.
