Maui Hotel Lowest Occupancy Rate in Hawaii

Maui hotelsMost of the visitors are looking for a reasonable place to stay in Hawaii. But most of the time they are unable to get a better place for accommodation in cheap rate. To help the tourist demand, Maui hotels, Hawaii offer lowest occupancy in the state. It occupancy fell 15.3% points to 63.3% for the week ending August 30. That was down 3.7% points as compared to the same week of the last fiscal year.

Statewide room rates dropped 2.3% to $201 per night, while Maui’s rate climbed 1.1% to $263. The room service and occupancy rates on the some other major islands were for Oahu’s occupancy service rate increased 0.4 percentage points to 73.4%, at the same time room rates raised 2.8 percentage to $181; moreover Kauai occupancy plunged 10.6 percentage points to 67.5%, while room service rates dropped 2.2% to $204; and Big Island occupancy was boosted 5.7 percentage points to 65.5%, at the same time as room rates slumped 17.7% to $174. On the other hand, the U.S. hotel occupancy rate, in the meantime, drop 2.1 percentage points to 62.1%, while room service rates were raised 4.7% to $105. So it is a better opportunity for the tourist to visit Hawaii and stay with very economy rate than ever.
